The first Thursday of every month features excitement along Charles St., Mount Vernon Place and surrounding neighborhoods with live bands, themed activities, free admission to area attractions, art exhibits and in-store specials. 5:30 p.m.

THE BABE RUTH MUSEUM
The Babe Ruth Birthplace and Baseball Center. This National Historic Site houses the Baltimore Orioles Museum and a regional baseball archives. See rare photos, game action highlights, hear vintage radio broadcasts and all this right near Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

THE DR. SAMUEL D. HARRIS NATIONAL MUSIUM OF DENTISTRY
Discover the exciting world of teeth at the only museum of its kind, The National Museum of Dentistry. It is located on the campus of the University of Maryland Baltimore (UMB) at 31 South Greene Street. The museum building, erected in 1904, was the home of the dental school for 25 years. Fully renovated and opened as a museum in 1996, the building now houses collections of artifacts and entertaining educational exhibits representing a riveting historical mix of gear, gadgets and lore associated with dentistry and teeth. THE FIRE MUSEUM OF MARYLAND

The Fire Museum of Maryland has been open since 1971, teaching children and adults about fire safety and fire prevention. You can see their collection of hand drawn, horse drawn and self propelled fire fighting equipment, plus a fire alarm telegraph network, historic fire apparatus, a High Pressure Pumping System, a colorful badge and fire uniform collection and films. THE RIPKEN MUSEUM

The Ripken Museum is located in City Hall of Aberdeen, Maryland. (The hometown of the Ripkens). The museum is filled with memorabilia from the careers of Cal, Sr., Cal, Jr., and Bill Ripken. The Ripken Museum is located in the Aberdeen City Hall at the intersection of U.S. Route 40 and Bel Air Avenue in downtown Aberdeen, Maryland. Just five minutes from Exit 85 off of I-95.

Admission: $3 for adults, $2 for Seniors (62+), $1 for students (6-18) and children under 6 are free.

See the Orioles' dugout, club level suites, press box and scoreboard control room. Tours are approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Tours are offered daily except on days of afternoon home games.
